You're about to share honest things about yourself. You deserve the plain truth about where they go. No lawyer-speak.
We have no ad business and no data business. We will never sell, rent, or trade what you tell us. Our only income is the subscription you pay.
Everything you write is encrypted in our database. If someone stole the raw database, your words would be unreadable to them.
The whole point is that two independent AI readers — Anthropic's Claude and xAI's Grok — read what you share and write you a letter. To do that, your text is sent to them over an encrypted connection at the moment a letter is written. Both companies state that data sent through their business APIs is not used to train their models. We don't send your words anywhere else, to anyone else, for any other reason.
We're not going to pretend we've built something we haven't. Because the readers must read your words, our system can access them to write your letters and to keep the service working. A tiny team may see data if strictly needed to operate or fix the service. We don't read your notebook for fun, and we never will for profit. We'd rather tell you the truth than sell you a padlock with no key behind it.
There's a Delete everything link in your notebook. It permanently erases every observation, every letter, and your account. We keep no copy and no backup of it afterward. It's instant and it's real.
We use your email only to send you your letters and account messages. Every email has one-click unsubscribe. We don't email you marketing from anyone else.
